Great looking close up shot. Fine example of nature photography. Your timing appears to be perfect and you have captured the curious look on squirrel's face very well.
Well done!

Wonderful. Great close-up. The details are fabulous. Love these little guys (when they are not annoying birds). They are so photogenic. Great presentation, thanks for sharing.

Nice close-up I'd say. Good solid background. He's pretty; has good fur color and a nice eye reflection. Love the whiskers. Do I see snow flakes on the squirrel?

    Thank you so very much! I had some tell me it is too close. I thought it was neat to see the detail of his face.

I bet you have a raccoon or two! If your feeders ever get carried off and broken up where they've made them fall off, and your shepherd hooks get bent over to the ground, it's either a huge raccoon or a very crafty deer!

I like this one, Willie, but it's a little too close for me, but it's good to see all the neat little details. He looks cold, poor thing, with those ice crystals on his fur! I'll bet you weren't too warm, yourself!

Great capture and focus, nice elements to this, great blurred background. Wonderful story elements. Enjoyed, Willie! :}

    Thank you so much! I have all the things you mentioned happen to my feeders. I only have one now. I just have 2 logs 18" in diameter stacked on top of each other. I have some suet hung on the roof of my deck. I have my bird feed in metal garbage cans with lids stored in a building. There have been deer, coon, opossom, stray dogs and cats and who knows what else around and on the feeders. With just one feeder it is a lot less effort.
    I am sorry you did not like the close up shot. I was trying to get a close shot of a chicadee and this guy came into my lens, I had to shoot him before I ran him off.

    I like your kind of shootin' Willie ~ my neighbor shoots them as in dead. I hate it and it kills me! I try to keep them happy on my side, but it costs an arm and a leg ~ so I lose either way! We now have an oppossum that comes up to the carport. I've had the squirrels chew right through the heavy plastic garbage cans and ruin the can and whatever was inside. I have since started putting a plastic sack full of dog hair (my daughter has access to dog groomer's hair). It helps! :}

    I use metal gargage cans. I would put a bungie strap from the handels through the handel of the lid, but the coons would still get it open. That is why I had to move them inside the building. I am sorry about the hunters that makes it hard to enjoy some things.

This is absolutely the best. I love these little guys. I just want to hold him and pet him....Oh. the review... well you should be tired of it by now. Focus, coloring, sharpness, point of interest all excellent. Focal point is the eye. The ability to see strands of fur just add to the excellence of your photography. thanks.. Can you send me one???
