The softness of the spots makes this look like a painting. I had to double-check. Great work but check your crop as the paws/hoofs are clipped.

Thank you so very much! It is not the crop. I was so excited to get the head I did not see the feet untill later.

Wonderful portrait of this young darling. The pose is stoic and bears warmth and innocence. Tremendous impact for the soul.

A great shot of a cute fawn. He looks alert and does have a little dirt on his nose. The color and contrast is good and the detail is sharp. A lucky opportunity at the right moment.

This is a gorgeous shot. Everything is right with this with the exception of the one leg that is cut off. It really distracts from the great shot.

Very beautiful shot of the whitetail deer. He is definitely the center of attention. Very sharp photo, good DOF. Enjoyed viewing.

And what a reward for being at the right place at the right time! Fabulous capture of this precious little baby! Good clarity and detail, and well composed. Great close up, and excellent presentation. Just delightful!

You were so lucky to be at the right place at the right time. I love little fawns with their spots. We used to have a doe come into our yard with her twins. It was so fun to sit and watch them hopping all over playing, but from a far distance. Now that the neighboring woods were cleared for the subdivision they had planned before the housing collapse, we don't get to enjoy them like we use to. What a waste to remove their habitat for nothing.

This is a great shot. The fawn looks surprised to have found a human watching. You have to be quick with these shots and that you were.

Great focus and detail in this cute little fawn. Love the look on its face right before it showed you it's little flag.

beautiful thing isn't he. Glad you were so patient, and this is a lovely, charming shot.
You can see the details in his fur, and spot on on the eyes.

My neighbor beside my wildlife project said he went for a walk down the dirt road and when he looked up my lane [I myself and my wife live in the city] a little ways up he saw in the grass laneway two fawns sucking milk form their mother in the lane. Wish I had seen that with my camera. Your shot is awesome and very crisp.

NIce grab shot! Lovely catch light in the eye, nice pose and expression, ready for flight. Lovely focus. It is a shame the foot is missing but that is a small niggle :)
