My wife and i diffintely are candle people. We love them and the ambience they give off. Just like in this shot. Lovely golden tones. Nice composition.

Very nice. I love the golden look and I like how you captured the flame just right. As you look at it, it almost feeling like it is actually glowing from the screen. Thanks for sharing.

Yes I feel that now is the time for some light in the darkness that exists in many places around the world. Your arrangements for this shot seem very appropriate. I am both surprised and impressed that the shot is so sharp being hand held with not much light around! Really good image, well done!!

This is different and nice. I can tell that winter is here, more and more photos taken inside of normal things around the home. This is nice, does shed a light on things!

Nice warm image which is in fact perfect for the season. I like the simple nature of the image and the golden glow that hopefully mirror what one is feeling during the Christmas season.

Nicely done.

Good shot. I'd suggest you try a higher f/stop and a reflector; the flame highlight is blown out. Less light would better capture the color of the flame and the reflector would give more exposure to holder. It might require a tripod or, at least some support of the camera (perhaps resting your camera on the back of a chair?) Still, a very pretty shot.

Thank you very much for the review and the tips. I don't really have a reflector though

Sure you do. A white piece of paper or a piece of aluminum foil will work. Another possibility is a white notebook. The advantage of that is that you can stand it up by opening it a bit. It's fun to experiment with a variety of makeshift reflectors and see the results. I hope this helps increase the fun of your project for you.

The title works and the storytelling is excellent . Good creativity and the nice focus make this a very nice piece in its simplicity . Your composition is right on

Beautiful warm, lit glow. Love the lighting, selective focus and dramatic strengths of light to dark contrasting. Very romantic, beautiful imagery.
