I have to give five stars, for the super unusual capture! Not something a person see everyday! I am sure he WAS able to eat it eventually..but what a feat! Donkeyoatey

Hi D, I know he was a determined little devil and it was definately fun watching him. He tried every angle you could think of to swallow that. I don't think I have to tell you how thrilled I was. I love those unexpected moments! Thanks for the great review my friend, Helvi :o)

Wow this is something that one don't see every day. Very interesting. The focus could be a bit sharper, but lighting, framing and story telling ability is good. Thanks for sharing.

great story telling here. I wonder if it would have helped him to go head on instead of around the corner! would have been nice to see the flat of his head angle. thanks for sharing.

Very neat picture. The snake was sure intent on what he is doing. I know there is little you could do about the background. It seems a little too busy for me. But the unusual content makes it worth while.

Nice capture. Focus is not on the snake's head and fish and that is where it should be. Pretty blue/purple colors in the snake. Looks like it may be an Indigo snake. Guess he bit off more than he could chew, LOL.

Hi stormi, It's a Black Northern Water Snake. I know the focus if off a little bit, it was a hand held shot. I'm still glad that you enjoyed it though. Thanks for the great review. Helvi :o)

This is quite the original shot. I love those happen upon opportunities. It might have been neat to get the other angle where we could see right down his throat. This photo is great nature/action shot. Well done.

Though I agree that would have been a great shot, I don't think the snake would have co-operated. One person frightened him from not being cautious enough and he moved three feet. I was extremely happy to get this! :o) Any chance you'd reconsider my rating? ...And that is said with a smile, not anger. It never hurts to ask. Helvi :o)

I can re rate, I understand that with wildlife you get what you get. It was just a suggestion for another time

Hi NpP, I don"t know if he ever did? LOL I didn't see it happen and I watched for 20 minutes. All, I can say is he was very persistent. The best part of the whole thing was.....I had my camera. His fish might not have gone down the hatch, but lots of pictures did I catch.( "Sorry!", Im a poet and I couldn' help myself. :o) Thanks for the wonderful review. Helvi :o)
