I imagine this must have been shot through plexiglass which accounts for the lack of sharpness. Excellent composition and great timing to get the action at its peak.

What a fun subject to capture digitally. Did you shoot through glass. The otter is slightly out of focus (I'm not sure if this is due to glass or not). There is also a yellow hue throughout the image - this could be caused by a white balance setting not supporting a secondary light source. Regardless, I find the subject fun with ample story telling ability. Nicely positioned in the frame. Kathy
