I find this hugely amusing. Now could this be a female bird do you think, or a bossy foreman male? Definitely a politician amonst birds. Oddly, when I go to Scarborough, there are so many I never notice, though Cleethorpes being much smaller, they seem more noticeable somehow.

Nice sharp close up portrait image of this seagull in full squawk form. You can almost hear him!
Great clarity, focus and lighting shows his details and yellow colour of beak really well.

Awesome shot. Looks like he wants to make sure he is being heard. Focus and details are sharp. Great composition. Very nice lighting. Exposure is great. I like the blurred seagull in the background. Nicely done.

My, what a big mouth it has-lol! A beautiful shot of this big mouth gull making it's presence known,nice crisp focus,excellent eye clarity,and I can see through the the nostril-cool! A nicely composed image that should do very well in this contest,i wish you all the best!

Except for the top edge of the gull's head and a bit of the neck, you did an amazing job with the lighting and focus and captured quite a shot! The shot is dramatic! One can't help but wonder what this fellow is squawking about! Images like this always grab your attention. Nicely Done Nik! Good Luck in the Contest! :o) Nancy

i nckname them sea vultures. im not a fan of them.. lol.. the clarity is great. the angle of the gulls facial is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall
