A good quality photo and good details and nice contrasts between the dark castle and foreground and very bright sunlight rays and beautiful sky. An interesting backstory as well. Never even heard of this castle before. What camera do you use to capture this photo? Nicely done.

Thank you Ann. It's not as well known as some of the other Cathar castles in the area and so a lot less touristy.
If memory serves I took this with my Nikon D300s because it's smaller and lighter than my full frame and it's a long steep climb to get up here.

The angle of the shot of this hilly terrain with sunligbt beaming down is great. The capture of the light is great. The clarity is great. The presentation is balanced and very eye appealing to the viewer. Great eye and awesome work overall

I have never seen such a brilliant image as this. I can imagine the patience it took in order to capture this shot with the sun's rays beaming through the clouds. It is just an awesome sight to behold and I've truly enjoyed reading all of your notes. You're technical skills are terrific. The depth of field that you have achieved is phenomenal.
