Excellent color and details of this Blue Jay. Focus and lighting are very nice. Composition is nice. I like the way you have caught the feathers under the bill. Looks like he needs to shave. :-) Thanks for sharing him, Eileen

Nice capture of Blue Jay. Good title. Good framing the image. I like his 'beard' under the beak. Never saw one from this angle before. Good color and lighting. Good background. Thanks for sharing.

Another very nice shot. Your focus is good. Composed well, this one however, at least to me, is a bit under exposed. That causes the colors not to pop as wll and the whites to be more grayish than normal, Remember if the main subject has a lot of white , due to our in camera meters reading zero exposure at white being 18% gray, we ned to bumo that exposure up at least a full stop to get the whites to look white.
Good job
Jim

Thanks a lot! Will slowing down the shutter speed do the same thing?

I can count his chin feathers! Excellent capture and focus, Willie, as usual! Great composition, love the look in his eye. Great colors in this close up. the lighting is good, and the background really makes him stand out nicely.
Enjoyed, Willie!
