Suzanne, you do amazing work with these chalk pastels. you are able to create wonderful detail and blend the colors with precision. You truly have captured the eyes to perfection, and been able to dray with detail his tremendous whiskers and great color.

Superb focus. The expression of the eye and the details of the pupil, its colors and effect, is so impressive. He looks like he is gazing at me right now. Great prominence of various lines and patterns. Clarity of whiskers and textures of the coat. Realistic choice and used of colors. Well framed.

You captured this guy extremely well. The detail of his face is spectacular... I admire the variations in your brush strokes- from very fine at the upper part of his face to the more broader strokes towards his body. His eyes are marvellous - he is looking straight at the viewer with a quizzical expression. The green swirls of vegetation as background harmonize so well with the image. Really very good work.

Try a black light on it when you are photographing it. It pulls the colors out. I like the look. It has a good feel and dreamy exotic feel to it. Nice work.

Many thanks for your very nice review. I'm no photographer, I'm afraid - I just photograph my paintings in natural light outdoors! Suzanne

Pastels definitely lose their vibrancy when converted to digital form, but this is still a great picture. The detail in it is amazing and the tigers eyes look so intent. Great art!
