Wow Annie. This is a pastel portrait by nature. I can see why you had to load this right away. The diagonal tree composition is a very unique landscape effect, and I really love how the color intensifies through the branches above the ridgeline. But the colors of the sky. Pink, Lavender, Orange, and Yellow. Does not sound like the colors you would equate to a sunset yet there they are. I also want to mention that I like the historical and geographical information you include with your postings. It adds a connection to the photo. Thanks for sharing a very nice piece of natural art.

There are so many things I like about this image that give it terrific initial impact. First the lighting is spot on. I love the contrasting colors and tones between the sky and land. You've composed it well within the frame too. Just lovely. Enjoyed it and your notes =D
