Beautiful shot Willie. The stamens are so clear you can see the pollen on them Coloring is very natural. Now this is just for myself, but I would like to have seen just a little more contrast to set them out a little more clearly. Overall though, I greatly enjoy this. Thanks for posting it.

This is the tiger lily and normally I'm not a big fan. Here though, you are taking me on a journey to the centre and the essence of this flower. Wille with the tiger lily, hot off the press you wowed us with this one. Extreme close up and you captured every little detail, perhaps because your lighting was spot on. Nice tight framing allows no outside distraction for this impressive capture.

Kind of ordinary day lily, but just so very well done with great composition, brilliant shades of orange and great focus it becomes extraordinary. With millions of photos made everyday it is pretty darn hard to come up with anything original and I guess the competitive nature of photography is what makes it so darned compelling.
