Neat shot of the gardner. He looks like he is very much focused on his chore. What looks like clematis flowers in the foreground are very pretty. Like all the different greenery in the photo. The spray of water also creates interest for the shot. Well done. Good focus and lighting.

Thank you so much for your generous review. The flowers in the foreground are Hibiscus. I agree it could be clematis but Clematis won't grow here. The air is too salty.

This photo could be an ad for the Parks and Recreation dept. of Quintana, Mexico. It?s a beautiful image. Although the picture is full, it doesn?t feel full. It feels airy and light. I especially like how the flowers closest to the camera are in focus and your capture of the water gives this picture great movement. I wonder if David intentionally wore this apron which matches perfectly to the flowers? Smile. I?m sure he did not. You say it was cloudy that day, but the colors are vibrant. This whole picture screams, LIFE! And LIVING! The only thing I could possibly say against it would be the lower, left corner. I think cropping out the container would purify this picture even more. Well done!

Thank you for your kind, generous and throughout review. I'm happy yo like my picture. I left the plant container were it is in purpose. I could have cropped or cloned but there is that red almost resembling the low Hibiscus blossom, starting a triangle of red spots from the container to the hibiscus and than to Davids shirt and back to the container. Thats why I left the container were it is.

I think the colors are quite beautiful, even with the cloudy day. Composition is perfect. A great portrayal of this man doing his daily 'chore', it may not seem like much work to stand and water, but to him it is a necessity for his livilihood.
Thanks for sharing, good luck in the contest!

Thank you so much for your kind review, especially the compliment on the colors. The watering is not the only chore for David. He is responsible for the garden all by himself what include cutting trees and bushes, cutting the grass, fighting weeds and keeping the place clean from the leftovers of tourists.

This is wonderful the way you took it with the flowers in the foreground. The detail in the water is great. A really neat picture. Good luck in the contest.

Nice shot you have taken here. With a great meaning behind it. but it does look like man is out of focus or a little blurry, maybe try sharpening it. otherwise nice photo
