Love it. Just jumped out at me at first as I though it was a sketch. Great observation in taking this.

Oh yes, I like your experiment very much. Wonderful to stretch and try new things. Has an erotic and sensuous feeling. I like the lovely undulating lines. Well done.

This hidden landscape is quite interesting. Nature is a good artist. Nice job of cropping to create the scene. Nice texture, monochromatic colors and the dark lines defining the landscape. Good job.

What a neat picture. I read what you wrote about it and it is amazing on art that you can see in everyday objects when you have an artist heart and eye. I love what you have done with this picture. Wonderful rolling hills.

I've looked at this several times and yes, I guess it does resemble a very barren landscape devoid of any kind of vegetation.
Would never guess it was marble.
Well spotted and good luck in the contest.

    Polly Brown,
so if I may ask what needs to be improved? thank you for you time and the comments appreciated.
reply by Polly Brown on 17-Dec-2010
Nothing needs to be improved. My understanding is that 4's need slight improvement, 4.5's are above average. I use 4.5 when I like a photograph but just doesn't give me the 'wow' factor. Sorry, no offence was meant.

Interesting approach. Shows how we can find beauty in ordinary things surrounding us. Good luck in the competition.

    jal30o,
Per the contest instructions I tried to find a landscape hindden something not a landscape. Thank you for having stopped by and then having written the review, all comments and viewpoints are appreciated, can you tell me what need to be improved, toy rating indicates there is an area where it needs to better?

wow a very curious piece I'm on the bubble on whether I like it. Technically its a pretty sound presentation color and clarity are good a nice post processing job. Good contrast and color its inline with the subject matter. While its a personal like/dislike of the subject matter I really can't minimize the review for that. This is actually a well constructed piece of work. Because of that it might very well be a great entry for this contest.
