This is an excellent work! The reflections in the water work so well as they are not simple duplicates but give distortions that are ultrarealistic. Good variation of tones and values in the landscape... nice greens! Great sky but you do more with greens than blues. It would make a great movie poster! Fantastic!

u wouldnt believe how many times i had to promote this one to final get all time best. i just couldnt get many folks to review it till after a year..i am proud of this one but couldnt understand why others wouldnt look at it..oh well ancient history and im glad that u have found enjoyment in this one. thanks for the awsome review(thumbs up)

These kind of images are from the forties and fifties generation and lots of younger people on this site could simply care less with little or no interest. After all, they were weaned on Star Wars or Matrix, or Sci Fi in general.

lolol..i guess im from both worlds..ever since i saw forbidden planet in the theaters many decades ago.. i have been hooked on syfys over the decades..when star wars came along and the parents were annoyed by the kids with the characters..i was the adult talking with the kids about the characters and the whole star wars universe..just call me an old dawg who is a kid at heart when it comes to syfy's..wink.

u mean syfy illustrations or western?.i have done both..oh heck u have to remember i have over 360 illustrations in my portfolio here at FAR just over the last few years so yeah..i have so many different topics i draw that when someone ask me what do i draw i say "everything"..wink

Tremendous detail in this sharpie drawing! I can only assume that the difficulty factor in this piece is quite high. A Silhouette with detail and reflection, done with your normal perfection. I really appreciate your wonderful ability.

Hee, Hee, like this work a great deal. The riders and horses in black certainly stand out against the hill in green. Even the reflections on the water are very easy to see which surprises me as the water is black too. The sky sets the whole scene off and I like your title too, which is very apt. Very creative and very well executed.

Calm image, makes me feel relaxed like it is the end of the day yet with that bright sky it isn't the end is it?!

this one didnt take me long.(a day) the way i did this is a mountain or hill is giving the shadow effect. i have seen this before out west.sun starting to set in the afternoon and the mountain cast a shadow where off in the distances the sun is capturing other terrain like ur viewing here. the best i could do,but good or bad ill stand by my work! it does tickle me to finaly have artist like urself to recognize and learn what i can do with a sharpie!thanks for the great review!
