Thank you for the wonderful review. This is a beach near me in Southern Ca. Earlier in the day it was packed with people. We stayed to watch the sun set. Funny thing, it suddenly turned peaceful. Wave flop after flop. It's so crowded here that this peaceful feeling is rare. Blessings to you my friend.

Thanks! God bless you too!

I first saw cobblestones in the foreground. Bold colors, but the pattern fades away a bit too quickly. Another foot higher may have given you a better vantage point. I like the land shadow in the distance. An optical illusion. Very creative idea.

Thank you for your wonderful review and pointers. You are so right about the vantage point. I should not of shot on a 50-50 horizon line. If higher the photo would of had more impact. But that is why I am here is to get feedback and how to improve. So for you time and helpfulness I send you my gratitude and thanks. Blessings to you Pink Flutter.

I love what you did with the colour tones taking this into another world, not our world but somewhere where hues of magenta and purple and pink reign.
The large upload is soft, that is not a good thing, we need to see it sharp, however I can see on the small thumbnail that the image looks sharper so I will not deduct because FAR upload mechanism is ....pardon my French...crap.
I love how the hues of the image go from dark to washes of brightness yet all have hints of the common denominator shade of purple. The sky reminds me of candy floss.
Did you know that if you horizontally cut an image smack in half it tells our brains "boring"....so to change the horizontal cut line would make your image a bit stronger....less sky more waves or vice versa. That is an artistic decision so I'm not about to start chopping stars for your your upload, but do keep that in mind when shooting landscapes, seascapes.
Nice in that long horizontal format. It was a luscious view...(purple and pink are my most two favourite combined colours).

Oh! My dear friend. Oh! How I appreciate and learn from the reviews I get from you. Some only say nice job. I believe no one is omni perfect. I agree that it should be sharper. I played around with pixilate to give it a pattern but it did not look good. I did not know about the horizon effect. I just learned something. I think it looks like lipstick. I have a deep fondness of purple and pinks too! Blessings my friend and thank you for a awesome detailed review...

....however, if you have perfect symmetry cutting an image dead center works to strengthen it....so rules can always be broken.

Thank you for informing me another technique.....

This is a very artistic and daring approach to this seascape photo. I do like the idea and it worked pretty good here. I really like the dark contrast on the right. Nice lighting. A bit of noise but not enough to ruin this photo.

Thank you so very much for a great review. I did not give much thought to it being daring but since you pointed it out I guess it is. I tried purple first but that just didn't work well. Guess I will save purple for a rain photo. LOL! Thank you so much for taking time to review. Blessings my friend.
