I love the misty grey sky in the background. The opposing green color comes alive next to the grey. There is a mystery to this whole piece. It definitely is a beautiful sight during a monsoon.

The moody sky in this painting adds drama. The beautiful greens are soothing and inviting. This piece makes me feel that I am wandering the Irish coat before a thunderstorm. How nice that would be!

A great landscape piece, depicting the countryside and rural feel of India nicely but still with the heavy feel of monsoon season still not quite having closed the door yet - we have nothing to that degree here so I cannot imagine how drastic and intense it can get. You have captured the feel of the weather well, with the swelling grey clouds and looming dullness that could still mean torrential rain. This is structured nicely throughout, over a lush scene of greenery that has varying layers and heights clearly visible and with a good sense of depth, and the dark shadow hanging over the left hill adds to the atmosphere. A great depiction and well composed piece, very well done :)
