I like the abstract style and that the form of the elephant is discernible. The various designs throughout the image are very attractive and precise. I think the splash of red works perfectly with the black and white.

This is a very intricate and complex design that would make an excellent textile design. The red is a nice touch and I would have liked to have seen it repeated in at least one other area of the design to as the is the design principles that I was taught.

Since red happens to be a powerful colour I did not want it to overwhelm the delicate lines. Hence a very limited usage! Thanks so very much for your time and the fine review! Much appreciated!

That was just my preference and I agree with you that red can overpower if not used carefully.
