I don't think she looks very please to see that ant lol. Honestly I am not a big ant person either ;) You did a wonderful job with the details. I am always amazed at what you can d with those sharpies. Thanks for sharing this with us :)

really awesome and brilliant expression. have just cam back from a natural history exhibit, featuring many kinds of ant. this one seems to be joyful and with the young lady, a faithful and happy expression.

Hi, love the concept, the color (as usual!) and the detail. I think I am too distracted by her skin tone, don't know what you are driving. Anyway, can't wait to see more!

It's a trial drawing for a new writer. It's another children story about a young girl discovering things around her. Thanks for the great review

Mark,
A beautiful drawing of the blonde lady's eye catching the eye of the tiny any waving from it's perch on the red flowers to attract attention & hoping it will NOT be squashed like so many of it's companions when coming into contact with humans. Created out of an active imagination, very skilful draftsmanship beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours in bringing this scene to life.

Excellent detail, I like the way the detail is in the flowers are very well focused. A bit of yellow in the face is strong.

Here is the funny thing. The only yellow is in the eyebrows. None in the skin. There are 5 different colors blended in the skin. Sharpie and Bic don't make a flesh tone so I have to blend colors to create it. Wink. Thanks for the good review
-
yeah i guess you would have to go old school and find a light pink that is all most dried up. to be honest that is pretty to blend it like that, really good job

something Alice in Wonderlandlike about this painting- and I really like that. your patience in creating those thousands of little leaves and petals and blossoms is to be praised. Love it..

Nice job on this MK!
I love her expression. It could either be "Hey! How's it going?" Or "WTF! Get away you wee nasty!!"
I love the composition and the colors on this one. Really great contrast.
Nice!

Oh gracious Sandy I'm over 900 drawings now and since you have been gone I started doing illustrated music videos. If you get the chance stop by YouTube.com. on the main page just type in "MKFlood Presents" which you will find 19 of them. Some will make ya laugh...some will make ya tap your foot. Some will make ya think and some will even get you cry. The admission is free but you have to bring your own snack. The flowers keep hiding mine..wink. thanks for the great review

Lol just love your sense of humour I will certainly have a look on you tube and take my back of chrisps with me
