A harsher and certainly more somber tone to the weather and surroundings on this day in this particular area of the series - the colours reflect a darker, more storm like evening ahead with varying tones of purple dominating, from light through to quite dark and murky shades contrasting well with the intermittent greenery primarily in the foreground. Well layered throughout and a good sense of depth and scale is created through the subtle changes in the many colours looking out to the horizon - another great and different piece, great work :)

Well, I think you got this one right. Not to light or to faded to just ignore. The purple clouded sky is rare and special. The brilliance of the light path across the water is just magnificent in capturing the calm alone but not lonely feeling. Sparse green reeds on the bottom and that lone tree trunk finishes off the visual interest and feeling of just taking a quiet walk on a gentle night. Reasons for my five vote.

Nicely done!
I like the overall soft pink and purples in this. The touch of green gives it very much the feel of a marsh.
Your sky always is quite sublime and fabulous!
Well done!

Hi Linda, your rendition is good with the lilac tones and soft greens complimenting each other nicely! Your sunset or sunrise is subtle and nice, The water reflection is aptly bring in the viewer and the lone tree adds a solitary effect. Well painted.

This is an interesting rendition. It looks as if the moon emerges from the clouds and its silvery shine reflects on the water. It must bee a stormy night because the wind blows the grass and it looks as if there are high waves in the background. The coloring of this piece is intriguing and it gives the viewers hints of time and climate.
