I don't think it is possible to take a better photo of this yellow beauty than you have done here Grace. Shining like this I bet he is popular with the ladies. The deep green background goes so well together with the yellow colors, and with the silky look the bird is standing out from it in the most excellent way.
It is just lovely the way the light is falling on the bird, and the exposure is just perfect. Your photo is also pin sharp with clear and well defined details.
The tight cropping works so well and the bird has got a very good placement within the frame. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF. Worth 6 stars of course, but I just run out.

You have captured one I have never seen and have done it perfectly. There is plenty of details in the features, beak and eye. The soft green background showcases the bird nicely.
