What a lovely shot. The simplicity is quite exquisite. Not sure if you have applied a matte finish or not but definitely works on one level (makes it look like art piece). However it also gives it a plastic/fabric look to it in my view when viewed close up. Like the light blurred background and the accompanying poem really sells it and gives it a sense of place.

The quality of images taken on the new phones is a source of never ending amazement to me. A well composed image with beautiful colors and excellent detail in the petals. Best of luck in the contest.

Cell phone cameras are excellent with the advent of technology. They remove the need to carry a regular bulky camera unless you are a pro photographer. They even have editing software built in!:) I appreciate your comments. Thank you so much for your support. Glad you liked it.

Very good entry for the contest. Beautiful close up of this lovely pink Rose with the water droplets clinging on to the petals. I like the soft background and the way the Rose fades away.
