Wow how cool to be able to see these magnificent birds in the wild, a superb capture of this female waiting in the nest, I am amazed at how big their nests are but they are huge birds, the eagle stands out well against the blurred back ground , great wildlife shot. A pleasure to view.

Lovely image of a regal bird. The soft background helps to make the subject stand out while framed between the two branches. It has its eye on you just in case. i don't think I would want to mess with it. I wonder if a little tighter crop would bring out the features any more?

Thanks so very much! I will post a closer view I have of another eagle in nest that I got in Homer. I wanted to show the nest here and I?m standing very far back from this one.

I like the great view you have here of the eagle's nest! It is interesting and has loads of attractive texture. There is good amount of detail showing on the eagle too.

I really like this head shot of the eagle. Found you did a great eye catch on the shot, nicely blurred background, and really good coloration.

Wow! This is a magnificent shot of the Bald Eagle. A great perspective and angle of your shot. Superb eye clarity! The spot on sharp focus brings us right into this photo with good light handling and clarity. I like the way his head is turned and the expression and emotions captured on his face. The details of the feathers are markings are good. I like also that we have a good glimpse of his habitat. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing.

You know it's the female because she spends her time in the nest brooding? Waiting for chicks to hatch with their egg tooth's. Nice composition. Image is fine but not that sharp. Check your upload versus the original to see what I mean. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image.

It?s the female , because she?s larger then the male, I spent a lot of time watching them, the male would come and sit on the eggs and she would take a break. I really appreciate your comments and rating, yes, I see that some of my uploads lose a bit of sharpness on here, this also happened on another sight that I was on. I also have had a problem where question marks just appear on my notes and some of my photo titles.

Quotation marks (? or ?) it will change to ? How silly for a site that should allow people to put their titles in quotes when referencing it

It?s not just quotation marks, it?s any punctuation marks, they pop up as question marks , it?s very strange and as far as I know, it?s just happening to me.

It happens to everyone. It is really stupid

You must know your eagles as I have no idea if this one is male or female! Your nice composition allows us an enjoyable view of your eagle and her nest. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

The female is larger, both male and female take care of the nest, they mate for life. Thank you so very much for all of your support!

A well composed image with very fine exposure for the white plumage on her head. Good clarity in the eye and a great background. The nest is well shown and the colors are outstanding.
