I like how well you created those little pug folds in the fur. The texture looks so good and your lighting is attractive on the pup and the background.

Awww I love him! He is so cute! You have done a wonderful rendering. I love his expression! He looks surprised or maybe shocked. Maybe wondering what his master is up to this time. Your attempt has paid off wonderfully!!

Nicely captured portrait of Ian's pet. Nice detail and texture in the overall image. The background works to bring out the shot. I would like a little more detail in the eyes sense they are so important to the image. Well done, beautiful image.

I love the expression and the work with the shadowing and folds of the skin. Nice job. It has instructed me to find something wrong with it. I don't see anything particularly wrong with your drawing to me. I am working on getting inspired again and I am loving the artwork that I am browsing through on this site. I hope to sign up for FanArtReview again.

Awwwwww......your pug is so cute.

He has such large and expressive eyes.

I love how the light has brightened up the piece.

Is it a colored pastel board or did you color it?

Great little fella, thanks for sharing.

Nice work James and a Great entry to the contest. The details in the wrinkled skin on the top of the head is really well done. The colors are true to life. Best of luck in the contest James ~ Steve

The Pug is such a wonderful little dog! They are not large in size but they are huge in personality! What a wonderful portrait of this pug! Incredible, you have his color and wrinkles just perfect and you bring him to life with the way you created the eyes! This is very skillfully created! I love it!
