This is a beautiful photo of this lovely bird all fluffed up to keep warm! The wood is a great perch and the out of focus greenery makes a very nice background.

This chubby little guy is adorable. You just want to give him a hug if you could. You have captured him in an interesting way. He is well placed on the curved branch. The muted background gives the photo nice depth.

This is really a wonderful photo and you captured this adorable little guy so perfectly. The clarity is so good that you can see every little detail of the bird. You framed it well and the lighting is good too. You did a great job and I thank you for sharing this with us :)

Hi Susan thanks for sharing this delightful photo of the little robin perched happily on the wood pile. He is stunning . Your photo is well exposed and the lighting is excellent. You have focused in on your feathered friend beautifully and captured the lovely details on his coat of feathers. . the splash of orange on his chest provides a wonderful contrast to the background of green foliage . his wing feathers blend perfectly with the bark on the branches .. Good lighting draws the eye into he centre of the picture and sets off this little charmer nicely. I like the angle used to show off the best of his markings. thanks for sharing your lovely photo . a joy to review . . cheers mel

This is very nice Susan. You have captured this guy's colors so well and I like the lines on the wings that show and how well the claws stand out. Nice light in the eye too.

What a little cutie. He was obviously as interested in you as you were in him. Very natural shot with good clarity and focus. The catchlight in his eye draws you into the shot for a closer look. Well seen and well captured.

And a very happy looking crappie he looks too standing on that branch. Your fine central composition offers us an enjoyable look at your robin and it's location. Sharpness and exposure are good. Nicely taken!

A lovely capture Susan of the puffed up robin, I like the off centre placement of the bird in the frame, the branch across the frame leads the eye across, great focus on this
Splendid fellow who stands out nicely against the
Blurred natural back ground. I always think there little red chest looks like a heart shape. Nice work
To capture one so close I love this.

Really interesting subject matter. European robins are a very beautiful bird. Composition and point of interest very good. Depth of field works well. Photo might be a tad soft. Maybe a bit more contrast needed. Your description adds a lot to photo. Well done.
