In your hands, a camera becomes a paint brush! Tulips are not easy to photograph but yours here are exceptional. Orange tulips are probably my least favorite color and yet I very much like these and especially your artistic treatment of them.

Lovely close up of the beautiful Parrot Tulips - I have several in my garden and love them, too. Happy Mother's Day to you - ours in the UK was in March. I like how you presented these in the frame with the dark background really making them stand out. Excellent lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Very nice composition. Suzanne

'Ol timers', like me, often refer to a take with no post processing for enhancement as a "pure take". When I see this I know that the camera technique is spot on, as is this one.
The splash of brilliant color across the mid-line of the frame, contrasted by the absolute black of the background is simply eye catching almost to the point of mesmerizing the viewer.
I see a bright, vibrant tribute to life and mothers everywhere.

nice capture of the flowers, but it looks like you have over done the saturation and this disturbs
also, the fact that the top pedals are cut off distracts

I am so glad that you posted this picture of the Parrot tulips. I love them, too and I have one I am going to post soon. that is the same color. I love how you have two of them and the colors go form dark orange to the left and blends into the light yellow on the right. Gorgeous lighting and POV. Beautiful focus and very well framed.
