Nice placement within the frame, sharp focus, fine eye clarity, great stop action and crisp details.
You have fine feather details, great exposure with true and Natural colors.
Nice bird photography Pat

Cool,Pat!
It's a good looking photo of the creature and it's name makes me think of the classic 'Widgeon' Floatplane that was built by Grumman Aircraft back in the 1930s!
'Good Show',my friend! : )

Well taken shot of the bird in the water. You have captured a lot of detail in her from the eye to the feathers. Nice reflection. I love the water. It has such a sense of movement and color with the light reflecting off of it. My criticism of the piece is that she seems to get lost against the water because they are so similar in color maybe some vignetting or level adjustment of something that pulls the water down a little would help. Nicely seen and shot.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your perspective. This was a white sky day on this murky pond and there were so many rilpples from the wind , the water appears almost abstract. I am not a fan of vignette .

I don't like hard or really dark vignettes, but I find that sometimes a light and feathered vignette can bring out some tones or details. Some light selective burning could do the same thing without being regular. I like the ripples and the white reflections.

A beautiful bird and an outstanding shot. The colors are great and the detail in the feathers is very good. I especially like the reflection with the three eyes.

She is a very pretty duck. Her mottled feathers remind me of burl wood and I am sure provide her with excellent camouflage during nesting season. I really like the sense of movement created by the reflections in the water.

What hits me about this one is the reflections in the water and the different directions they go in and the different shapes they create. Gives it an abstract feel to it. Very nicely lit, framed and presented.

Thank you very much! I know, it was a white sky day, and it was windy, it really rippled this murky pond! I greatly value and appreciate your support!

Pretty feathers. Pretty design of the feathers. She almost looks like she is smiling. Love how you captured the sun shining down to give off the awesome reflection. Great lighting and focus. Nicely centered as she swims off the frame.
