The clouds are amazing, it is great you got such a variety of the types, it looks like you might of used a wide-angle lens? Anyhow, great pic.

Awesome Pat. A Cyber Six for the Drama created by these clouds. I love the way you put the main emphasis on the cloud formations with just the right amount of foreground land and trees. Just a wonderful scene Pat. Kudos ~ Stevee

No 6's. :(
I swear this looks like you grabbed a paintbrush and climbed a bean stalk to paint on that beautiful blue in the clouds.
The landscape is nice, but the skyline does it all for me.
Very clear and focused photo.
My mom and I are just learning how to use her camera, taking an online class. How do you use a polarized filter with a camera. I want, I want.
It is a gorgeous shot, thanks for sharing. ;)

Thank you so much Minnie, I really appreciate your wonderful review! You can buy the filter to fit your specific camera, it just screws on to the front of the lens and can be turned to adjust it, it sort of works like sunglasses for your camera, it will help prevent blown out clouds and eliminate haze and glare when shooting in bright sun.

Wow.
Those clouds are indeed spectacular.
This would make an outstanding painting, not that the photo isn't outstanding itself.
Well done.
Sharon

Wow, Pat, I am amazed too. You captured them beautifully with exquisite detail and perfect lighting and natural color. DOF is amazing. Plus the scene below them is just as lovely and well shot. Superb photographic artistry.

Wow! Spectacular clouds, Pat - it almost looks like a painting. I often think when you see different cloud formations that if you painted them as they were, people would say they didn't look real! Excellent lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Thank you so much! This area always has great cloud detail but in this visit it was hard to take my eyes off the sky .
Comment from btowngirl

I can certainly see why you were amazed! Your technical skills and composition really bring out the detail in the sky. Normally a sky can seem flat, even with some clouds, but this one must have been extremely colorful for you to need to de-saturate! Excellent.

Thank you so much! I desaturated on the greens just a bit to keep the eye on that cloud detail in the sky. I really appreciate your wonderful review!

One of the strongest photos I have seen of clouds and almost over shadows the landscape in this,in fact the landscape is almost insignificient, still its a good shot...Brian

Thank you so much! Normally in this area there is good cloud detail but the land is usually what I focus on, it?s beautiful in Eureks, this time I couldn?t believe the sky! I guess after we left, there was a downpouring of rain.
