Hi, thanks Steve! If you get to the point where you have some feedback on how hard my long excerpt was to understand, I would be thrilled to know how it struck someone such as yourself who was not familiar with the story. There always the longer, more intense, missing chapters as well that you would be welcome to read if you find the story interesting. An editor who had been helping me express myself with shorter sentences has the rest of it right now. I have just begun editing a middle era work about my time on Cerralvo Island. Oh I just remembered a short piece a historical writer wrote about my "Baja Legend." That isn't very long, and pertains to my stint on the island. I will email it to you.... Daphne Oberon

Thank you very much! Did you notice the mouse on the right on top of the racimo of bananas? In reality this incident had hordes of rats I did not draw....!
