this isn't a six, it would be a 10 in my book. This is stunning and says so many things. the lighting is impeccable. God's love showing safety, peace, kindness, everything that is Him. This has got to be my favorite. something about it really spoke to me this morning. Thank you Steve.
love it

You do have the great imagination of a talented writer! It's a fun story and I especially like peering through the smoke effect framing the top. It effectively adds an interesting element of drama and mystical illusion to the image. The shape and essence of the pirate ship leads my imagination to time travel rather than cloaking or invisibility, and the ship goes perfectly with the magical gossamer appearance of the smoke, and my impression of the concept of the story. I also admire how the nature of your story cleverly forgives the brightness of your light source :)

It has been a long time Grace. Hope all is well. Thank you for your compliments on the story and the scene. You are quite right in that the blown out sun created the necessity of 'flavoring' the scene so as to make it look intentional/presentable. Then I built the story around the scene. Necessity is truly the mother of invention.

I love your storytelling with this image.....maybe magic follows you. I like the beam of light going through your image making this photography dynamic. The unusual smoke in this sunset scene makes this unique. Very well photographed with a beautiful sunset and I like how the people in the foreground are silhouetted. Your post-processing is an experience all it's own. Outstanding work and storytelling behind your lens. Thanks for sharing! Love this!

It's true then after all! Lightening can strike the same place twice!! Your fine composition is both traditional and eye-catching. Like the silhouettes, the shaft of light with what, to me, look like wisps of smoke. A enjoyable image. Well done!

The picture is worth at least 6 stars. The story I have learned in my life they are all sorts of things that can't be explained or understood. It reminds me of a picture my grand dad had. The color and the waves and the light is just beautiful.

And what was it that you were smoking at the time? No matter, wherever it came from, a great story. Had me til the ship disappeared. An intriguing image and I thank you for sharing!

Lol. Thank you Sandra for the nice review and Wondeful rating. I don't smoke anything but when I look at a photo sometimes some wild stories come to mind to enhance the scene. I don't know where these crazy ideas come from but they are a lot of fun to spin. Some believed the story. I will have to put a disclaimer on the stories from now on I see. Thank you again Sandra for the Wonderful review and Extra Sparkle. Hope all is well ~ Steve

Thanks Mark. The guy in the lower right is Dr. Who. Nice guy but kind of weird. I think he had something to do with all this. Keep those drawings coming my friend ~ Top
