Now this I really like and well deserved of a six in my eyes. The structure of the wave is super and as for your palette..simply delicious ..as you've captured so much movement through this breaking of the wave..it makes me want to jump into the canvas..congratulations..one of your best :)

A beautiful picture of the North Sea it's surface stirred up like a caldron by high winds & some might say by the action of the moon. With you Very skilful brushwork, beautiful choice blending & application of your colours have brought to life. If I close my eyes I can hear the roar of the wind, blowing off my hat & tossing my hair, smell the ozone in the air, feel the spray on my face & tasted the salt on my lips.

A beautiful picture of the North Sea it's surface stirred up like a caldron by high winds & some might say by the action of the moon. With you Very skilful brushwork, beautiful choice blending & application of your colours have brought to life. If I close my eyes I can hear the roar of the wind, blowing off my hat & tossing my hair, smell the ozone in the air, feel the spray on my face & tasted the salt on my lips.

I like how the entire composition looks has an expressionists touch, but the wave in front rolls over in realistic motion. I like also how you painted the foam of the whitecaps. The colors limited to various shades of blue and white are intriguing and pleasant.

Beautiful rendition of the ocean waves. It's nice to see some of your regular paintings again. Colors are wonderful and the wave action is good. Really like the foam from the waves in the foreground. Good luck with the contest.

very pleasing seascape the colors in the water are great really emphasizing the varying directions of the water flow. The wave in the foreground is very well done. My only negative comment would be the brush strokes in the middle ground seem to detract a bit from the overall painting, Otherwise I love it.

I always love your work. The rich deep colors in this are spectacular. You did a great job showing the dark undertones beneath the crest of the wave compared to those wonderful highlights of the white froth of the wave.
