What a beautiful bird. This is a very interesting photo in the way the bird is leaning in like he is. Kind of reminds me of a woodpecker with the top head feathers pointing up. You have captured the color and intensity of this little creature quite well.

Very nice capture of the female cardinal. Focus is good and she stands out very well against the blue background. Wood adds a nice contrast. Lighting is excellent.
