Another wonderful image of this beautiful horse, love the pop of yellow blossoms in this desert scene. The soft light from the haze enshrouded full moon illuminates everything nicely!

Excellent form! The body language is realistic and I really like the color of the horse. The yellow flowers are a great splash of color in the landscape. I like the motion that you created with the mane and tail too.

Hi Daphne, What a LOVELY IMAGE! Love the horse and all the other additions to your image. They are all well placed and create a nice fantasy in the eye of the viewer. A real pleasure to review!

Thank you so much! If as you seem to like this so much, you would like a copy, email me at daphneoberon@gmail.com. As it is for a video, this is only 11x8, but I can enlarge the original to the equivalent dimensions, such as 22 x 16. or.. I just request that you not hand out copies.... Thanks again and have a great day! Daphne Oberon

this is truly magnificent and like the previous, is giving the air of grace and quality. the horse is in a type of 'sit up and beg' position. obviously spooked by a haunting, or in this case a ghostly orb'. he is like frozen in time but all of your static pictures convey a motion + those added details are both classy and classic. the yellow blooms offer some contrast to those frosted branches.

The Azulejo project energy must be reaching out because I got an unexpected call from a Los Angeles times book review representative today wanting to do a review of this story because they somehow came across my first self published edition of the original Title, Azulejo on Amazon. I am confused how they located it and got my phone number, but due to visitors confusing my day I asked them to email me. I did explain that the project is in a state of reformation. The gentleman asked if I would consider keeping the old name and just publishing a new edition under the old copyright s ithey could review it. Well I have a bit of research to do to decide if I would want to go back to promoting the original title; I wanted to change the title so it would come up in Internet searches. Azulejo does not come up except as Spanish blue tile. Before I either updated the old copyright or proceeded with a new ISBN and copyright, hopefully with a National publisher, not a self publishing outfit, I need someone else who has Microsoft Word or the equivalent for MAC to read over the present manuscript for me. I tell you this knowing you are already too busy, but you seem to have a real interest in this story and its lead horse character. Over a couple to three months ideally, might it interest you to read the book and highlight areas for me that you saw reason to alter or add to? You know that I have no money now, but it could lead to my paying you three hundred to a thousand dollars depending on your time invested, or/and certainly to your being listed as editor of the new edition and or so on. I know you are terribly busy, but you might actually find the project inspiring. At one point I used to joke about the cult of the AZULEJO -- a very magical horse! People have really gone bonkers over the story in the past -- even my mother's friend, the daughter of Prime minister Atly who some time ago I sent you a photo of with my mother. The book should have been a great success by now, but its "mama" keeps getting derailed on the project plus multiple impossible obstacles have overwhelmed me. You could even read one chapter at a time to your boy, though he might not be sophisticated enough yet -- not sure. It builds like one of the old classics; nevertheless the last person to edit it was yours truly -- me, so an outsider to the project needs to read it for issues I was not alert to, as well as for any suggestion that would make it easier for modern readers to comprehend. It is about a bygone time, and written in that lingo as well... Think about it... I may have emailed you the screenplay, but probably not the book. This would be the longer book galley that has much more story to it, which I would email it to you if you would be interested. Take a few days to think on this -- no immediate hurry... Thanks for your magical reviews and have a great day! Daphne

many thanks for the vote of confidence daphne. i have undertaken some proof reading before but only on an english band, i have a lot of knowledge on and who indeed originate from london. she was an american writer and i helped her out on certain UK phrases instead of US ones (that were not used over here and at the time). i'm not sure if i can edit in another capacity, especially on your story. but i would be happy to read the book and if i came up with any sparks of inspiration, on any of the content (enclosed) i could inform you. you do not have to reward me in any way, i mean if i could be of any help at all, it would be a happiness.

This is very gracious of you to offer to do this, Mr. Jones! I have a hunch however that you are destined to benefit from it vicariously if not directly. I suppose I am lapsing into "magical thinking," which actually is something I seldom ever do as it reminds me of my parents, but there is a particular twist to this endeavour. Among other things it meant something to me when, without naming the Akhal-Tek horse breed you brought it up in your caption, since in this fiction I suggest that might be what these Azulejo's are -- not purebreds, but throwbacks... Hopefully my book is not in need of editing basically, but my instinct tells me you might contribute both small artistic details and suggestions, and point out confusing passages in a few chapters at least. Also who knows, maybe you will find I have duplicate pages or paragraphs somewhere -- something out of left field like that. I have been trying to deal with way too many projects at once over the last few years, while being embattled by hackers on that project especially. I had a hacker actually build a text box in my computer which he would write me messages in -- I have verified that this is possible to do, but also verified that it would require extreme determination on the part of the hacker!! I had a network targeting me even the CIA was trying to track down. I got in communication with them about it. Among other things this network shut down a power plant in Colorado! Why anyone ever targeted me I have no idea, but being stalked by things has been a lifetime state until now; I am faring much better on that front! This evening I'll send you the revised galley text via email, along with a synopsis so you know the storyline. I think you will enjoy it -- I hope. This story is always described as a different world -- VERY! Daphne Oberon

Gorgeous blue black horse in rearing up position in the light form the full moon, beautiful yellow flowers adorn this lovely scene and add framing on three sides, I especially like the white mane, tail and front socks on the horse and the lavender / mauve and gray tones in the background, the moon is beautiful and well placed in this scene. The cactus plants give a sense of this location. Very well created, arranged and presented!

Very nice work here Daphne. I really like the dramatic blue black horse. It is is a powerful position and the white tail, mane and front feet accent this magnificent animal even more.

The setting of browns with the yellows make for perfect background. Well done Daphne ~ Steve

Beautiful! I love the color of the horse. The background really makes him stand out. The addition of the yellow color makes the composition pop. Very well drawn and painted.

Thank you so much! This is very appreciated, especially from someone whose work is so professional as yours! I only do graphic work due to having old injuries to my hands, so am very grateful to have the option! I must say that sometimes I get frustrated trying to create a figure like this in a vector program though! At least at my self-taught skill level. The body is not quite as smooth as it would have been had I done it in pencil as it has so many separate "fields and planes" to blend together -- unlike the frame where the smooth horse figure is jumping is much simpler. Anyway, this is why in this particular frame your six star review means a lot! I did decide to re-post it after slimming the body a tiny bit to make it look more like the same horse as in the other frames. (Due to the different "planes" in this pose, 17 layers were required to produce the contours!) Thanks so much again! Have a great day! Daphne Oberon

I know what you mean about layers for that. Some of my digital compositions have up to 18 or more before I'm done. Don't sell yourself short. You are very good at what you do. Your designs are beautiful. Love them all!

If you don't mind my asking, what program do you use? What graphic programs do you recommend -- in my case I am presently limited to a laptop that has 22 gig memory -- still not a top "barn burner"!

I use Photoshop Elements. It's not as expensive as the regular Photoshop and I feel it's much easier to learn to use. I am self-taught. If I can learn it, anyone can. For fractal art, I use Apophysis (it's a free download). Complicated and I'm still learning. I use Redfield and Flaming Pear plugins. They are compatible with Photoshop. Hope this helps.
