This is a great macro shot and shows all those colors one can only see in a fly when use a micro method. The flower is also nicely shot, giving a lot of detail of both. Good luck in the contest.

I have heard of these flowers and their most unique,if unattractive odor,obviously they aren't meant to attract butterflies.This is a great photo,your sharp focus gives us an excellent closeup of both the fly and the detailing inside this flower.Excellent capture of the veining in the wings and the glossy metallic coloration of the fly.This is a very well composed image and should do very well in the contest,I wish you all the best!

Very unusual shot of the inside of the plant. The plants petals look like wind blown sand. The blow fly's details are amazing. The lighting and focus are well done.
