Beautiful moment and wonderful focus. The iconic green head contrasts against the snow like an emerald on quartz. The 2:1 ratio of the foreground and the group of ducks in the back make this image easy to look at and adds to the composition of the photo.

Thank you! I think the Central park duck was a Mandarin duck, they are super colorful.

Nice shot! I like the look of this. You called this a duck pond but all I see is snow. I know how it is. These are pretty ducks and are very popular with hunters. I have been told they are good to eat!
