I really like this piece. The colors are blended so wonderfully. When I look at the reflection to me it looks like a person when there isn't one.

To me this looks like a pond surrounded by trees and plants, and these are nicely reflected in the pond. The Rain Storm is still visible because of the obvious wetness.
Apart from this I like the color pallet you have used, and also your bold brush strokes. It is good use of high lights, and it is so many fine lines and shapes to be seen,
The format and framing works well, and it is a fine flow and balance in the composition. I think this a great looking and well done abstract, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I think I see a gator! Wow is that squirrel giving that gator the finger? The birds are laughing and laughing while gator gives the squirrel the evil eye ...now of course you didn't capture all that but you left the door open when you left it up to us to guess what we see..as you can tell my imagination is always active...lol..wink. I do like the reflection of colors of the brush..I can tell there is water..maybe swamp or not but I can see the water reflection. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Still creative approach and great job overall
