Grace,
A beautiful picture of these Honey coloured Bracket Fungi growing on a tree branch above you, Somewhat like Scallop shells. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a great close up of these mushrooms! The wonderful light and excellent sharpness shows great detail in the interesting patterns on the mushrooms. Lovely color too.

This is so interesting. I actually have never seen mushrooms on a tree before. They do look like shells just like you said. Your focus, framing, and lighting are all very good. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)

Looks like tiny fans spread across the limb. Cool presentation of the ringed mushrooms in shades of brown and tan. Terrific focus and lighting. They blend well with the limb. Looks like little maids in a row.

Cool,Grace!
They're one of the various types of 'shelf fungi' that we like to call 'Devil's Bread',my friend! : )
Some will send you on bizarre hallucinatory 'trip' if you dare to ingest them while others ( so I'm told ) will kill you dead with little fanfare!
I used the smooth underside surface of a large specimen of one of these as a 'canvas' for a drawing once! : D
Your photo of this cluster of 'em' sproutind from a tree branch makes for a very 'Good Show'!

A neatly captured fungal growth clinging like Asian native farm hats!
Gorgeous natural colors & illumination...

Framing is dynamic with its semi diagonal positioning.

The hazy backdrop makes the exotic mushròoms stand nicwly!

Thanks!

Nice title for a pretty and unusual picture. Nature is always putting something out there to see and it is easy if you just look. I really did like seeing this! Good job!

I think these are the ones I have always called "wood ears". They are a lovely variety of shelf mushrooms that are quite tough. A beautifully composed shot with excellent colors.
