Great photo,i like how your cormorant is off center.Guess he got tired of standing and decided to give one leg a rest. Great turquoise sky background,excellent focus and beautiful detail in both bird and branch.

Nice mid day capture of what I consider the rats of the waterfowl family. I our neck of the woods, when cormorants stake out an area in short order the vegetation dies other species move out, etc. etc.
Nice leading line from the branch to the bird. Beautiful color rendition of the bird's face, especially the eye. beautiful blue to show off the cormorant. Well done.

Nice timing to capture the cormorant up on the branch on one foot, the other tucked up near his feathers, I like that he has turned his head allowing a nice look at his profile, I see good detail in his feathers, face and bill, beautiful teal blue eye! The deep blue sky makes a perfect background. This is of course, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones appear natural, the s is well composed with a nice placement of this beautiful bird in the frame, leaving plenty of room for him to move or look into. Well presented!

I can understand putting your feet (or even just one foot) under a down comforter when it is cold and I am sure that is often the case, but I have seen the same kind of pose when it is sweltering out. That leads me to wonder. A very nicely composed shot with fine colors and sharp detail.

A beautiful picture of the Cormorant perched above you standing on one leg as it surveys the countryside around it & you with it's piercingly blue eyes slightly brighter than the sky in the background. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
