This is pretty deep. But, if you are dedicated to God, there is no failure, only as humans we think we fail, he only sees us perfect! We create our own downfall, I hope your crisis is over, remember God loves us in all things, I have not heard of anyone becoming a Nazarene before, perhaps you are too hard on yourself,

An interesting reveal of yourself and I think a therapy. It will work out, this is a positive portrayal, you are positive person. This comes through in your artwork. It has emotion, it is colourful as life can be, it is tight in the frame but that is part of the reveal. The flesh colour through the white outline clothes is barrning your soul

A sensitive narrative and very much correlated to the painting that you have produced.The palette is good however the tones are lacking depth subsequently the composition comes across too flat upon the canvas and it would have been better to have had a slightly wider canvas allowing the subject to portray walking in to a space in front of him as the frame presently traps the subject in my perception.

I would think it is difficult to paint yourself. You really need to search from within to do it justice. I think you have succeeded here. I know about the church of the Nazarene, but not enough to speak intelligently about it. I like your use of color to symbolize what you are feeling. Great job!
