This is so creative Nancy, and I just love your poem. I especially like the way you have used the flood filter bringing out such great reflections, and it is also lovely the way the spring flowers are framing the melting snow man.
The photo is sharp and it is truly clear and well defined details to be seen in both the snow man and the flowers. The all over exposure is very good.
The only thing I don't think is working so well is the snow on the left. It is too bright and is taking away a lot of attention from the rest of the photo. It is the first thing your eyes fall on before you start to look at the rest.
The format and framing is however perfect, and with the snow man off to the right, it is a fine balance in the composition. All together a truly sweet and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

Annie, When ever you drop by, my eyes open wide! I tried to keep down the brightness of the snow, but guess I just missed out. The fact that you think I did everything else so well means a great deal to me. I'm glad you enjoyed my poem too! I remember long ago I wrote a poem for one of your images. The project I'm doing with Mark inspired me to write once again. Because of him I've written 3 poems. For the first time in a long time I added a poem to my imagery here. Hi Mark, I'm thrilled you felt I did a good job creating this but that poor little fellow is melting. He's scared he won't exist anymore. I even tried to create the illusion of him melting. I have the idea you didn't see the poem attached or my thanks to you for inspiring me to write again. :o) Still love you though!
