Glad you came back to FAR Ray. A cool and colorful abstract. The depth is good. The details is good. The shading is good. The blend of the colors is good. The shape and design is balance and eye interesting to the viewer. Creative approach and good job overall.

MK, thank you for a fine review. I didn't get into it back then and I didn't understand why some one would pay to do all this to have a pot of gold. Now I am a paid member and I will find out what it is all about. Now I feel comfortable amongst my peers. I'll give it my best shot. So far so good.

well FAR is what you make of it. some are here to learn and some are here to promote. now that your being a paying member go for the contest. many pay cash money. if your to help strengthen your portfolio, FAR will do it. not only offer copyrighting your work but your yearly rankings and awards will help it. i had checked out your other abstracts..pretty cool colorful and creative. sounds like a good combination to me..ill be looking forward to your future projects. (thumbs up)

np bro..nice to meet ya as well. hey if you get the time, i would like to see if you dont mind viewing and reviewing something for me if you get the time. btw do you know how to search for a title of art or photo? if your at a computer look at the top header that has FAR logo and you see to the right view, post,etc. hold your cursor over view. a drop box will appear. scroll down to search. that will lead to another page. there you can put in the title and it search and display that titles. better than scrolling thru lotta portfolio..now if your doing this from a cell, chromebook or tablet then you look at the top right corner for menu and a drop box will appear also. just scroll down to search.. anyway if you can search "road to somewhere" and when you view it check out the 4 minute music video that is attached. it would be cool to know what you think of it if you dont mind. Bryan Taylor and I (FLOOD/TAYLOR presentations) would love to hear your feedback. thanks!

Jodi, Thanks for a nice review. I am glad you have decided to look deeper cause thats where things get interesting. Can you keep a secret? My work is small 6x9 inches. I call it lap art.

Beautiful, bright colors. Colors mix well and are evenly distributed. Design is pleasant to the eye and not too busy. I recently bought a print similar to this.

Thank you for viewing my work and picking this one to review. Your Country Sunset was every thing I said it was. Since you seem interested, I will tell you about my work. I work small, 6"x9" , 9"x 12". I love bright colors and their contrasting colors. I work right out of the tube, I don't mix on a palette. I paint with a palette knife. I paint on 250 pound paper and higher. After I prime my paper with white, most paintings take about 30 minutes not more than one hour usually. I balance colors with their compliments and create figments small area that create interest and they are as you say busy, because I want to hold your attention so you can see my painting and not merely look. These are not copies of anything, they come from feelings and thoughts at the time. Purely original, I do not copy a picture, I've been there and I have moved on. I paint for enjoyment and I love to share my enjoyment. The colors I use or my technique will never be the same as other might see. No business, no interest, boredom. Abstract is hard to review if you don't understand it. Do you like and enjoy looking at the painting. Do you enjoy the colors, are they working for you. Does it hold your interest. I don't want to present any old crap, I want to give you something to talk about. That's the way I work. Thank you for listening. Ray G.

Jirina, thank you for the the wonderful review. I enjoy sharing my creations. I Like to hear other opinions and insight derived. Communication is so vital. As an artist I feel like put it out there, expose my soul and hopefully someone will be touched and enjoy the experience and the feedback is always welcomed.
