Fine pastels work both in the hair and face, as well as dress. The background with the yellows on the inside and the dark, golden brown surroundings are lovely. The bin or item she leans upon is realistic.

Very nicely presented on dark pastel paper The colors, tints and shading are strong and the yellow background. It appears as if the background was a second thought to soften the hashness developed. My opinion is that the dark out line on her left side wouldn't happen because that is where the light is coming from and is unnecessary, only my opinion. Ray
