I think it an incredibly original piece in terms of element placement and the message being given- almost Picasso-esque. But I rated it slightly lower because the entire composition itself doesn't feel balanced on the paper. It seems like the space for his head wasn't planned to be so large or something. But 5 stars for creativity!

It's very creative. Funny and a bit scary. I like the shading, but the middle could use some lighter tones for contrast. Keep up the good work!

A very imaginative drawing! This is truly art from the imagination. I like all of the fine details that you have portrayed in this character's face. His eyes have human emotion yet he is very fantastic. A wonderful entry to the contest, best wishes to you.

unimaginative, a doodle, this is more.of a concept drawing you should expand on, just a guy looking weird is not enough, needs context, such as surrroundings, emotions or actions,

This is definitely a good take on imaginative creativity. He needs a part as a character in a children's book. I am imagining as you suggested. ~ smiling~

This is so imaginative. It's a little messy and difficult for me to make out the details, but I really appreciate the creativity and quirky vibe! I love his fingers. Best of luck!

What a great contest entry. It definitely screams "imagination" quite vividly. Even though it has been done in charcoal , thereby rendering it monotone in nature, it still has lots of great detail and contrast and a great sense of whimsy. Good luck!

What I find most fascinating about impressionistic abstract art is each has its own uniqueness - and this piece is no exception.

When I view this piece I get a mental taste of a little pre Colombian art accented by pinch of Athabascan mythology and sprinkled liberally with some Groucho Marx just for fun.

I can't exactly why but this work just speaks to me somehow... Bob
