Cindy, this is such a cute scene of this hummingbird landing in your Dad's camera. Great timing that you have caught this one. I like the story behind the scene. Thanks for inspiring us with a set up photo. I might try doing this, too. Great shot!

Haha!! Thank you for the nice review, I’m not Cindy, and it’s not a hummingbird! :)

Hahaha! So sorry. "Mia Culpa" Of course not a hummingbird. That woodpecker is one of my favorite bird. My mind had been wandering. Thanks, Shadow catcher. It is hard to remember names nowadays.

So much fun to view and the creativity on your part is really fine.
The bird is posing wonderfully and the whole presentation of bring a traditional old equipment with the bird with a modern flair. Thank you for sharing!

Initial impact WOW, this is a terrific portrait of this old camera and the bird. It's visually very interesting. The imagery is sharply focused. Exposure is handled very well. It's framed perfectly and it's a very creative shot which is why I gave it a 6.

This is a great shot of this woodpecker on your Rolle. I have a Rollieflex camera I use to take baby pictures with it.. Too much of a hustle. Great idea and expert execution. Ray

Thank you, no digital hanky-panky here, just a very cooperative wood pecker that has a sweet beak for grape jelly-lol!

ha! ha! This amusing shot is a visual treat! Your framing draws the eye beautifully, and the play of light and shadows, combined with the rich colours, makes it truly captivating. Well done!

A great photograph captured, literally, by other means but very cleverly. It has created an interesting, unusual picture probably good for national geographic. Focus and clarity are very good, and the background expertly blurred out to keep focus on the main subject of the photo.
