It is very abstract at this angle and reminiscent of such art. Peonies are a favourite of mine. I love the way they are such foosies when in full bloom showing all they have and this capture is just that. So beautiful almost over the top. I love it.

I love this piece. You managed to capture the essence of the flower and bring out it's otherworldly quality. The white, yellow, orange and pink hues give it a painterly affect. Great work. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful capture. I think if you increased exposure to brighten it up, it would really make it pop and be worthy of a 6. It is stunningly shot, nice and sharp and well framed. I miss my Peonies from my old home in New England. It's too hot down here in Florida to grow them unfortunately. Glad you're able to enjoy them all the way up there in Alaska.

A beautiful picture of the heart of the white Peony with it's gold and orange stamens adding colour to the image raindrops sparkling in the light. Artistic composition, framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Pat, it doesn't seem as clear as most of your posts. Just seems a little out of focus. Lovely contrast and colors shown here, however i would have hoped the center of the flower would be a little more clear.
