Pat whever did you do a poor shot of an eagle? I just love your tallent in capturing movement and feather details. The background is so clear too in the stone groves and colour. Well done again. So lucky to see these birds. We see signs in Germany nearby the forests but is very rare that you actually see them.

Hey Pat! This is superb. Initial impact is incredible. Such sharp focus and terrific lighting really complement the Eagle in his bold stance. The viewer is able to see his sharp talons, the flow of his feathers, and those mesmerizing eyes. It is perfect in every way. I love that you chose to do a close up. It's spectacular.

A wonderful portrait of the Bald Eagle on the stoney beach at Anchor Point Beach standing on Seaweed & pebbles it's head turned so it can keep an eye on you with it's left eye the sun above highlighting it's white head & gold beak. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Just amazing. Very sharp focus on the subject with a nice blurred background. Eagles always have this slightly intimidating look to them. Like "don't even think about it".
It seems you are fairly close to the subject in addition to a telephoto lens.
One more reason to live in AK.
