Hi ABG,The first glimpse of the small shot threw me for a loop! I was thinking this Manatee had an awful small head. It wasn't till I saw the larger image that I realized it was lying on its back! LOL
Looks like this guy is totally relaxing in the water
without a single care. Love the way he's just floating there. Your focus and lighting are very nice! This was a fun shot and a lot of fun to view. hanks for sharing! :o) Nancy

O th8nk this has been a take with a challenge. So well done. It looks dark but it has definition in the shades of the Manatee. I had not heard of these so looked them up. I like the angle and that you captured in your view the jetty structure that cleverly lifts the presentation. I like your notes...something different is very welcome.

this i feel is probarly not the best photo of this creature you can get but its an interesting one because have never seen one on here and i once took a photo of a turtle in a similiar position so know you have to except that you have to take what you can get or not at all...Brian

Very interesting artists notes, the manatee is quite an interesting creature < I have never seen one before.
Well captured to tell this story, we see it is on its back close in so as not to miss any free meals .
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones appear true and natural.
