Moore Hen On The Loose

While walking my dog in the yard, this Moore Hen swam by looking for some bread tidbits from me. I usually give them a piece and he will dunk it and take it to his offspring. Both parents will do this until the babies can go off on their own. It really is fascinating to watch wildlife do what they do. Nikon D7000; 1/1250s; f/5.6; ISO 800 late in the day
