The 2nd best part of having a cutting garden in the summer is all the wonderful creatures that visit (the flowers are 1st of course). We get many hummingbirds, butterflies, moths and several species of bugs. Most of the hummingbirds are wary of man, but this little lady was very comfortable with me following her around on my knees, in the dirt, in and out of the sprinkler, for a good part of an afternoon. I think she actually enjoyed being photographed.
