you're out with your heavy telephoto lens looking for a bird, far away; instead you see an insect or a beautiful flower at an unreachable distance, and say to yourself: no regrets, I'm few meters away, even if I had my macro lens, I couldn't get closer, to the usual 10-40 cm distance; how could I take a decent photo!..............but why not try? this macro was taken from a 3 meters distance! with a 600 mm equivalent lens !!!(100-400 mm zoom on aps-c camera); .........................I was surprised by the result and think it is as good as with my 60 mm macro lens at 30 cm distance;
