Macro - Photography Contest Entry

This is a shot of a male tiger swallowtail butterfly I shot in my studio, years ago. I used a Nikon F3 film camera and shot the original pictures for this set on Kodachrome 64. I used Norman lighting to create the depth and added lilacs to give some excitement to the colors already present. As mentioned in my notes, this is a copy of a .gif off an original color slide. I had to crop the image off at the bottom so my watermark didn't show.

This picture is a low resolution picture copy from a gif file. So the quality suffers, but it's so pretty I wanted to share it. I cropped off the bottom so my watermark didn't show.
